Why hire a freelance writer?

There are many reasons to hire a freelance writer:

• Staff doesn't have the necessary skill set, and the workload isn't heavy enough to hire a full-time writer.
• Not enough time to write all of your own material. Don't you have more important things to do?
• Temporary personnel shortage due to marcomm staffer leaving, going on maternity leave, absent due to illness, etc.
• Increase in workload due to temporary glut of work, natural growth in the business, or downsizing in marketing department.
• Desire to outsource a function such as writing a monthly newsletter in order to make sure it doesn't "slip through the cracks."
